2024 Louisiana Caring Communities Youth Survey

During the month of December 2024, our district will administer a survey to students in
grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 at your child’s school. The purpose of the survey is to gather information needed to plan prevention and intervention programs in our community and schools. These programs will address problems of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, school dropout, delinquency and violence in our schools and communities. A copy of the survey instrument is available at the school board office if you wish to stop by and review it. A copy of the survey can also be accessed using the link provided below or through a link included in the consent document below as well. The survey is entirely anonymous and confidential. Students will not put their names or any other identifying information on the survey booklet. All results from the survey will be presented only in group summary form, like many opinion polls.

Parents Communication Survey

As part of the District's Strategic Plan, Initiative 5.2, we are looking for ways to improve communications from the district to schools and families, as well as within our schools.  We hope to use your responses to identify practical steps we at the district can take in our work and in support of schools, to improve communications across St. Martin Parish Schools.

Student Progress Center

The Student Progress Center allows parents to view their child’s attendance, conduct, discipline, grades, progress reports, and transcripts (high school).  Parents must first register with the school by filling in and returning the student and parent information worksheet, which was sent home with students in the first week of school.  If you have not filled in and returned this form, you should check with your school secretary and do so now.  That worksheet includes the parent’s names, addresses and phone numbers.  The mailing address for each parent who wishes to register with the Parent Command Center is required, including the zip code.
