 What is SMSH Test Recovery?

  •  Program designed to help students achieve better academic results
  • It provides students with school-based support adn allows students the opportunity to redo or revise activities/tests/projects

 Test Recovery--Who?

  • Offered to students in non-honors/gifted classes
 Test Recovery--

When

  •   Test recovery is used when a student scores below a 75% (C) level
  • Only content material should be used for test recovery
 Test Recovery--

Student Responsibility

  • Students are responsible for finding out the assignment/test they are to revise  or redo
  • students are responsible for collecting all necessary materials and instructions from teacher during non-instructional time
  • students should make up any test before the deadline given by the teacher
 Test Recovery--

Teacher Responsibility

  • Teachers are responsible for deciding which activities are designated for test recovery
  • Teachers are responsible for reminding students dates and deadlines
  • Deadlines should be 1-2 weeks after original assignment is given

 Who is NOT Eligible?

 Students are NOT eligible for test recovery if:

 

  •  cheat on test
  • refuse to take a test
  • leave for than 75% blank on assignment/test
  • DO NOT put forth effort as determined by the classroom teacher
