Wynde Frederick is the SMPSB Employee of the Month for August 2011. Wynde is the executive secretary for Superindent Richard Lavergne.

These “Loozi-Doodle” artworks were drawn by students from five different schools across St. Martin Parish. These creative students are all in the Talent Visual Arts Program. Following our “Louisiana” theme this year, students created these amazing doodles starting with the outline of our state. The only requirement was to draw the doodle with black pen.

Resource Officers

The School Resource Officers are responsible for Cecilia Sr. High, Breaux Bridge Senior High, St. Martinville Senior High and JCEP. Through set guidelines, the School Resource Officers work with the school staff to maintain order at each of the schools. In addition, the resource officers are implementing a new tutoring program which will begin in February of 2005. They are also responsible for a new club called S.A.V.E., Students Against Violence Everywhere. This is a new program which will begin in the Spring of 2005. S.A.V.E. also promotes community service projects by its members. The Resource Officers are also club sponsors for the SADD clubs at each school and active in the Red Ribbon campaign each fall.
