• BBHS Speech & DebateBBHS Speech & Debate

The BBHS Speech and Debate team went to Lafayette High School to compete at their Speech and Debate tournament.  We had two BBHS debaters make it to the semi-finals (the final four debaters/competitors), Dillon Dupuis and Brett Smith.

At the end of the competition, Dillon Dupuis placed 3rd in debate at the tournament.  Brett Smith won his semi-finals round and went to the final round (final two) and competed against a debater from John Paul the Great Academy.  Brett won finals--placing first at the debate tournament.  Brett remained completely undefeated throughout the tournament--a perfect 10-0 record.  It is also note worthy to report that debaters and coaches from throughout the state showed up to Brett's final debate round to take notes and learn about the cases we developed.
